Indian politics, brought together in one place.
NetaData is a civic education platform built to make Indian politics easier to explore and understand. In one place, you can look up politicians, political parties, states and union territories, constituencies, and how India's parliamentary system actually works — without digging through scattered government portals, party websites and news archives.
NetaData is not affiliated with, funded by, or run on behalf of any political party. We built this platform because we believe understanding who represents you — and how — shouldn't require a political science degree.
Our mission
Empower citizens with accurate, accessible and transparent political information.
Most of the underlying information — assets, cases, education, election history, party finances — is technically public. It's just spread across dozens of disconnected sources. NetaData brings it together in one searchable, easy-to-navigate place.

Our approach to data
Every figure on NetaData is built to carry a citation. We draw from public and official sources, alongside reputable news reporting for context.
- Election Commission of India
- Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) / MyNeta
- PRS Legislative Research
- Digital Sansad (Parliament of India)
- Press Information Bureau
- State legislative assemblies
- Official party websites and manifestos
NetaData is an evolving civic-education initiative, and our profile database is still being built out and validated at scale. Some data shown during this phase is illustrative as we expand and verify coverage across all states and constituencies. Where a figure matters for a decision you're making, we'd always encourage cross-checking it against the original cited source — the same way we do.
Our commitment to neutrality
NetaData does not endorse, favor, or campaign for any party or candidate. Politicians and parties across the spectrum are presented using the same format, the same sourcing standards, and the same level of scrutiny.
Our goal is for you to leave with information — not an opinion we've handed you.
