All India Trinamool Congress
The All India Trinamool Congress is an Indian political party founded by Mamata Banerjee on 1 January 1998. It is a recognized state party headquartered in West Bengal and has been a major political force in the state and in Indian national politics.

Mamata Banerjee founded the Trinamool Congress on 1 January 1998 after breaking away from the Indian National Congress.
