
Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party
Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party, commonly known as YSR Congress Party or YSRCP, is a regional political party based in Andhra Pradesh. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is its founder and president. The party's political programme emphasises welfare, development, farmers, youth, labour and social inclusion.

- 2009Political movement around Y. S. Jagan
Following the death of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy became the central figure of a political movement that later developed into YSR Congress Party.
- 2011Formal formation
YSR Congress Party was formally established under Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and registered with the Election Commission of India on 31 January 2011.
- 2014State party recognition
The Election Commission recognised YSRCP as a State Party in Andhra Pradesh after its electoral performance in the 2014 elections.
- 2014First Assembly election in residual Andhra Pradesh
YSRCP won 67 Assembly seats and became the principal opposition party in the newly reorganised Andhra Pradesh.
- 2019Major electoral victory
YSRCP won 151 of 175 Assembly seats and 22 of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy became Chief Minister.
- 2024Change of government
YSRCP won 11 Assembly seats and 4 Lok Sabha seats. The TDP-led alliance formed the Andhra Pradesh government.
- 2026Opposition phase
YSRCP remained the principal opposition force in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, with 11 MLAs, while retaining 4 Lok Sabha and 7 Rajya Sabha members.
